Remark : It is always said that "All the pretty girls come from Ipoh", but looking at these photographs taken at the Lido and Nam Fong photo studios in Ipoh, Batu Gajah clearly halso had its share of prety girls.
From left to right, top to bottom they are:
Anna Yoong, Ho Kuan Mee, Ho Kuan Thye and Chan Yoke Heng.
The Ho girls are granddaughters of Ho Yuk Phooi, a well known personality in Batu Gajah at one time.
These were lively young people who spent a lot of time with their friends enjoying Perak's attractions, both natural and man-made. If anyone knows them today, please let them know they are featured here.
