Four Views Of Station Road, Ipoh - Part 1

These photographs show views of Station Road at the junction with Belfield Street in Ipoh. In the first photograph the building i (No 21 to 23 Station Road) to the right of the striped blinds is on the site of today's Chartered Bank, built in 1904. it is the twin of the S P H De Solva buillding at No 43 to 45, also dating from 1904 and shown on the right in the second photograph.
Ipoh Remembered adds:
Number 21 to 23 occupied two lots only and therefore was not exactly on the site of today's Chartered Batnk, which occupies four lots, 21-27 Station.
